Tank Wagon

Description

Stainless Tank Wagon (later called STW) has a volume of 45 cubic meters designed for food oil and/or petroleum transportation. Wagon tank is made of AISI 304L stainless steel with 8° bottom slope leading to centrally placed discharge system. Depending on the customer demand the Tank can be insulated with mineral wool and covered with prepainted anodized steel; while still keeping the wagon very light and easy to use. It ensures strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. The wagon is loaded from above.

The unloading is performed under pressure by gravity or discharging pump, on the wagon bottom, through a discharge pipe. Design, manufacturing and equipment are according to TSI, UIC, EN, ERRI and GCU.
