On December 5, 2023, delivery of all 100 Power Coaches to Egyptian National Railways was successfully completed.
The programme began with a contract signed on September 30, 2018 for 40 Power Coaches, followed by an extension signed on March 14, 2020 for a further 60 Power Coaches.
All 100 coaches use Egyptian Ganz Motor bogies tailored for ENR’s track conditions, continuing Tahawy’s long cooperation with Ganz Motor technology in Egypt.
