On March 14, 2020, the Power Coaches programme for Egyptian National Railways was extended by a further 60 coaches.
The extension followed the original contract for 40 Power Coaches signed on September 30, 2018, bringing the combined programme to 100 coaches. The fleet uses Egyptian Ganz Motor bogies tailored for ENR track conditions, with Tahawy coordinating the railway technology and programme support.
