On January 31, 2021, Tahawy signed the 75 Grain Wagons programme for Egyptian National Railways.
The project combined Kiruna Wagon grain-discharge technology with Amsted Rail running gear, including Motion Control bogies and automatic couplers, assembled and supported through Egyptian production capability.
