Product overview
Over the years, Tahawy has built and supplied thousands of flat wagons for Egyptian railway and freight operations. These wagons have served container movement, steel products, general freight, industrial loads and other project-specific duties.
The portfolio combines adaptable flat-wagon designs with proven Amsted Rail Motion Control bogies, automatic couplers and Brenco bearings. Platform length, payload, deck layout, container fittings and securing arrangements are configured for each customer’s cargo, route, loading gauge and operating requirements.
The blue concept shown above illustrates one of Tahawy’s modular flat-wagon designs, presented with a removable freight body to demonstrate the platform’s flexibility. Final configuration and specifications depend on project requirements and approvals.
