Product overview
The Kiruna Wagon Side Dumper is a self-discharging wagon for bulk materials, unloading rapidly to either side of the track without fixed infrastructure. Under the June 2022 agreement, Tahawy Rail is Kiruna Wagon’s licensed partner in North Africa and the Middle East for the development and licensed manufacturing of self-discharging Side Dumper wagons.
Tahawy Rail won the procurement from Egyptian National Railways to deliver 300 self-discharging Side Dumper wagons, built with Egyptian railway production facilities as part of the 1,000 Freight Wagons programme.
