The 1,000 Freight Wagons programme is the largest freight-wagon project in decades in the Egyptian market. Built by SEMAF for Egyptian National Railways, the programme covers multiple wagon types for Egypt’s freight network.
Every wagon uses Amsted Rail Motion Control bogies and automatic couplers, continuing the Amsted running-gear standard used across Tahawy freight-wagon projects since the 140 Freight Wagons programme.
