212 stainless-steel VIP cars with new Ganz Motor bogies — including interior cooperation with the KADER factory.
Between 2012 and 2015, Egypt’s VIP fleet was renewed: 212 stainless-steel Spanish cars received new Ganz Motor bogie systems and full interior and exterior renovation. Tahawy supplied 424 Ganz bogies and cooperated with the KADER factory (AOI) on 20% of interior parts, working alongside the SEMAF factory.
The programme also produced the Egyptian Presidential Train.
