Under the 2022 agreement with Kiruna Wagon, Tahawy Rail is Kiruna’s licensed partner in North Africa and the Middle East for the development and licensed manufacturing of self-discharging Side Dumper wagons.
Tahawy Rail won the procurement from Egyptian National Railways to deliver 300 self-discharging Side Dumper wagons, built with the SEMAF factory as part of the 1,000 Freight Wagons programme.
